Description
According to recent studies, compressed air can save only up to 4% of the electrical power consumed by a modern air compressor. The remaining energy is released by the air compressor in the form of heat into the environment. Using the BOGE Duotherm energy recover system, up to 92% of the electrical power consumed can be recovered. The BOGE Duotherm energy recovery system can channel this energy into an external water circuit, creating a "reservoir" of hot water that can be used in a range of applications such as workplace heating, personnel washing and process heating.
It can be integrated inside the cabin of every new BOGE air compressor, or it can be externally adjusted to any already installed air compressor (irrespective of the manufacturing house).
